HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
- We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Locker (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, UID’s and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Our database is protected from unauthorized access by a series of highly sophisticated software protection programs.
- Our secure server software provides protection for your Personal information. We encrypt all of your Personal information, including name and email address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. This data is used only to confirm our existing records. Sensitive data is also encrypted while being stored on our server.

The WE Project Store
The WE Project Store is an online platform that showcases the products made by women and transgender groups trained under various multi-skilling training programs conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and its research centers AMMACHI Labs, the Center for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality, and the UNESCO Chair for Gender Equality, in rural communities of India.
The WE Project Store does not handle payments or profit from the sale of women-made products. This Site is not an eCommerce site. No transactions will take place on the Site. Instead, the Site serves as a platform for visibility to connect women-owned businesses with potential customers, offering support to kick-start their entrepreneurial endeavors. In the coming future, we are actively working on establishing a pathway to connect women- owned businesses with potential customers.
