Breaking Barriers
Empowering women through modern skills & entrepreneurship
In addition to offering training in conventional fields such as tailoring, jewelry making, embroidery craftsmanship, and other traditional trades, our projects also provide opportunities in cutting-edge vocations.
We are proud to have trained India’s first female plumbers through our UNDEF Women’s Empowerment Project, while also equipping youth with skills as automotive and motorcycle technicians.
This comprehensive training nurtures entrepreneurship and craftsmanship for success in promising economic domains.

In Their Words
“Through this small business, my dreams and ambitions are coming true one by one. The skill training has created new opportunities and successes that have helped boost my confidence and interest to expand our business and engage other women. I am grateful to the Women Empowerment programs of AMMACHI Labs that has opened new doors for me and my colleagues.”
When I came, I didn’t even know how to use a needle, hold a scissor, or even basic stitching. In a short time, I learned the basics and can even make trousers, Palazzo pants and pleated skirts! The best part is I have gotten over my shyness and can connect well with people. I have learnt to remove my hesitations and fears. I am so grateful.
I was impressed by the tailoring class I enrolled in. This center is a great place from basics to master level. They take care of the individual attention of every student and teach
using easy to understand. My gratitude to Amma and the SANKALP Project team for giving me this opportunity.
